Hey world, we have moved!!!
3846 Montgomery Road, Norwood, OH.
We are entirely functional in the new location, and firings are back on track.
We have worked hard to update our website so that you can now put an order in online and then pick up in store. We are incredibly short staffed during the pandemic, so it's a good idea to call and confirm pickup directions after you place your order. Thank you for your loyalty during this transition, we are getting more and more organized daily.
How do we re-open?
As of June 1, we would like to welcome our current members back to the studio. Our goal is to welcome new members beginning June 15 if this goes well.
Most importantly and obviously, do not come in if you are sick or suspect that you may be sick. Children under the age of 16 are currently not allowed in the studio during this time.
In the building, we require masks for all studio members and employees unless you are in an office with a closed door. This is because clay is a very immersive activity, and there is simply no way to participate safely without a mask.
Sign in when you arrive and leave, so that we can help folks with contact tracing if anyone gets sick. We also ask everyone to let us know if you learn that you have Covid within 2 weeks of visiting. If you aren't sure, we will have the sign-in logs to check! Studio membership requires allowing us to notify other studio members who may have been in contact with a member who tests positive.
We are currently setting out sign-in sheets for wheel users. This lets us know which wheels need to be cleaned throughout the day. While we ask each studio member to deep clean, we also will inspect before the next person uses the wheel. Please be sure to sign in and check to make sure when your wheel was last cleaned.
We're also set ting out a sign-in sheet for the glaze area so we know when to wipe down the drills, sinks, and other high touch areas.
We are limiting the number of people on each floor to 10 or less. If you would like to reserve a wheel ahead of time, please feel free to call the studio. If you happen to come in during a busy time, feel free to ask if there are secret wheels in other locations (we have a couple of pods we are building for members)
Currently, we are asking studio members not to eat in the studio. While we would like to keep it friendly, food is one of the easiest ways to spread the virus.
Bathrooms are also one of the hot spots for transfer. We will be cleaning the bathrooms daily, but again, using the restrooms as little as possible is in everyone's interest.
