Everything’s starting to open back up and so are we!
to learn about our current safety practices
Retail: We're open Monday-Friday 10m-9pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, and Sunday 12:00-4:00 at 1912 Hudson Ave. You can call us or place an order here on coreclay.com. We can collect your items and set them out for pick up. Payments can be made over the phone or we can email you an invoice to pay online.
Firings: We have two electric kilns operational, one giant gas kiln, and more on the way. Call or email us to make an appointment to drop off your work. Our turn around is set at two weeks
Studio members: We're open and you're welcome to stop by anytime. You're welcome to use the front entrance at 3836 Montgomery or 1912 Hudson. We are still working on the new space but we're fully functional and socially distanced.
Classes and Date Night: We're currently offering Date Night classes every Friday, as well as our 6 week Beginner and Intermediate. We're currently limiting seats down to 6 so we can maintain the recommended 3ft. apart. Check them out here.
If you'd like to be added to our newsletter to send you amusing and entertaining anecdotes about the outside world:
Hey world, we have moved (again?)!!!
Our retail and studio entrance is now located on our side street at 1912 Hudson Ave. Our front entrance at
3846 Montgomery Rd. is currently under construction to become our gallery.
We are entirely functional in the new location!
We have worked hard to update our website so that you can now put an order in online and then pick up in store. We are incredibly short staffed during the pandemic, so it's a good idea to call and confirm pickup directions after you place your order. Thank you for your loyalty during this transition, we are getting more and more organized daily.
How do we function in Covid times?
Most importantly and obviously, do not come in if you are sick or suspect that you may be sick.
In the building, we require masks for all studio members and employees unless you are in an office with a closed door.
Sign in when you arrive and leave, so that we can help folks with contact tracing if anyone gets sick. We also ask everyone to let us know if you learn that you have Covid within 2 weeks of visiting. If you aren't sure, we will have the sign-in logs to check! Studio membership requires allowing us to notify other studio members who may have been in contact with a member who tests positive.
We are currently setting out sign-in sheets for wheel users. This lets us know which wheels need to be cleaned throughout the day. While we ask each studio member to deep clean, we also will inspect before the next person uses the wheel. Please be sure to sign in and check to make sure when your wheel was last cleaned.
We're also setting out a sign-in sheet for the glaze area so we know when to wipe down the drills, sinks, and other high touch areas.
Currently, we are asking studio members not to eat in the main studio or classrooms. There are quiet break rooms on the second floor you're welcome to go to to eat.
