Inspired by the subtle hues of the translucent Celadon glazes from ancient China, The Ceramic Shop cone 6 Celadon Collection is designed to accentuate soft textures and highlight white stonewares and porcelains.

Developed to allow for color mixing, these glazes share the same base recipe and can be layered in an intuitive way, similar to mixing paint. Combining these glazes will allow you to achieve virtually endless variations of shade, hue, tint, and value. Take customization in your glazing to the next level and make your work truly stand out!

The Ceramic Shop Pro Series is formulated for a dipping or pouring application, and they can be thinned with water and used for spraying. If brushing, consider adding a bit of brushing medium, such as Veegum T to the glaze first. For brush work, use a soft hair brush to apply 2-3 even coats. We always recommend testing before largescale application, as variations in clay body and firing can produce differing results. Dinnerware producers must test finished work to assess suitability.

Our Cone 6 glazes have been used in studios, schools, and by professionals for over a decade. All glazes are lead and cadmium free, non-toxic and conform to ASTM D-4236 standards.
