Duration: Six Week Class; Saturdays June 13th - July 25th

Experience: Advanced

Time: 12pm-2pm

Ages: 18 and up

Capacity: 8 students

Instructor: Aidan Prince

During this six week class, students will learn how to center larger amounts of clay and throw large vessels. Techniques covered will include throwing large forms in one piece, throwing two part forms and attaching to build height, and hand positions for working with larger weights of clay. We highly reccomend taking a Beyond-the-Basics class prior to this workshop.

We will provide unlimited ^5-6 reclaim for the class, and tools are available to borrow.

Students will receive a 10lb firing package to fire pieces during the class. Additional pieces may be fired by purchasing weight to add to your package. Students will receive a 5% discount in our retail space during their session, which can be used to purchase additional firing, clay, and tools.

Due to the size of pieces made in this class, firing may take longer than the usual turn around. Please be patient as we can only fit so many large vessels in a single kiln!

We classify this as a "Level 2 Class", meaning that everyone enrolled should either have completed our Beginner Wheel Class  or something similar at another studio/school.
