Ready to take the next step in your clay journey? Our Tuesday evening "Beyond the Basics" is a great starting point for potters who want to step outside of the basics and on to more interesting techniques. Classes include things such as: enclosed vessels, lidded vessels, throwing larger forms, more advanced glaze techniques, and more. Sam's class focuses primarily on wheel throwing and surface decorating techniques.
Free reclaim is provided for the duration of the class.
Students will need to either purchase or rent a toolkit. If you choose to rent, a toolkit will be assigned to you for the duration of your class session. Your $40 deposit for your toolkit rental will be refunded upon the return of the toolkit with all tools accounted for. Missing or broken tools upon return of the toolkit will result in a forfeit of your deposit.
We classify this as a "Level 2 Class", meaning that everyone enrolled should either have completed our Beginner Wheel Class or something similar at another studio/school.
