Saturday, Three Week Beginner Wheel
Service Description
Duration: Three weeks + a glaze class
Time: 2:00pm-4:00pm
Ages: 14 and up
Capacity: 3-10 students
Can't commit to a full six week class? This short form class is a great option for learning the basics. Class includes a 25lb bag of clay, a tool kit rental, and all of your firing costs will be covered. Students are also strongly encouraged to come in outside of class to practice as much as they like. This class is three consecutive weeks with an additional glaze class. Additional clay, glazes, or tools may be purchased at a discount in our retail area.
Why do three weeks instead of six? This class makes sense if any of the following apply to you:
-You already know how to throw and you just want a quick refresher
-You are curious about throwing but not ready to commit to a full six week class
-You signed up for a six week class in the future, but you are so super excited to get started and you cannot wait!
-You want to join the studio, but would like to have a guide to help you learn the ropes
Why would a six week class be better?
-With more time, six weeks helps you develop muscle memory
-Six weeks helps you process some of the initial information and put it into practice (Three weeks goes fast!)
